Great City Church of the Nazarene was established in October of 2023, however its roots go further back. For decades, Nazarene congregations have been gathering at 730 Orange Street faithfully loving God and people.  Many of the people who call Great City their home church have been attending at this location for years.  Pastor Michael Culp and his family have been serving this congregation since 2019.

Worldwide, the Church of the Nazarene is the largest denomination in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition. It is unique in its belief in the doctrine of entire sanctification — that by an act of God, Christians can be transformed into the holy likeness of Christ, purified from original sin and, through the work of the Holy Spirit, wholly devoted to God and filled with love for Him and His people.

Great City is a part of the South Central Ohio District, which is comprised of approximately 68 local congregations.  The Church of the Nazarene exists to make disciples of all nations, as instituted by Jesus Christ in the Great Commission. With an aim to transform the world by spreading the aroma of Christ to a world in need of Him, we value scriptural holiness — Christlike living — and our calling to spread the Good News to the world.

The ministries at Great City are led by volunteers who are committed to serving.  From our welcome team, music and production, youth ministry, women's group, missions, small groups and so many more... we have an amazing group of leaders who love well!
